Practice Policies

Our practice policies are designed to provide a smooth and efficient experience for every patient. We prioritise clear communication and mutual respect to foster a trusting and professional relationship.

Financial Policy

We request that patients pay their accounts by the time services are performed unless a prior financial arrangement has been made. Accounts will only be issued by prior arrangement with the dentist.

Cancellation Policy

Patient appointments are generally reserved in one-hour blocks, depending on the dental treatment delivered. For this reason, providing a minimum of one business day’s notice is essential if you are unable to attend your scheduled appointment. Otherwise, a holding deposit will be required to secure future appointments. Sufficient notice allows us to reallocate the time to another patient requiring our care.

Privacy Policy

Our Privacy Policy outlines how The Dental Co. Windsor uses and manages our patients’ personal information, including what data we might gather about them.

5-Year Warranty for Lasting Dental Confidence

At The Dental Co., quality and longevity matter. That’s why selected restorative treatments are covered by our 5-year limited warranty. If your restoration fails under normal use, we’ll repair or replace it in line with your coverage — because your smile deserves lasting care.

Our 5-Year Dental Work Warranty

At The Dental Co., our dentists proudly stand by the quality of their work. That’s why selected restorative treatments are covered by a 5-year limited warranty — giving you peace of mind and confidence in your smile.

If your restoration fails under normal use, the dentist who placed it will repair or replace your restoration in line with your warranty coverage. It’s our way of showing that our dentists are confident in the quality and longevity of their work. This applies and is limited
to:

  • Porcelain/Metallic Crowns
  • Porcelain Bridges
  • Porcelain/metallic Inlays and Onlays
  • Dental Implants (including all-on-X / all-on-4 restorations)

What’s Covered

  • Chipping, breaking, or unusual wear of your restoration
  • Recementing of a crown, bridge, or implant crown

If repair isn’t possible, we’ll replace it with a similar restoration. If you have a health fund, we’ll claim through it first.

Keeping Your Warranty Valid

To make sure your warranty stays active:

  • Visit us every 6 months for your check-up and hygiene appointment
  • Follow your dentist’s home care recommendations
  • Wear a night guard if prescribed
  • Avoid damaging habits (chewing ice, opening bottles, etc.)

What’s Not Covered

  • Trauma or injury
  • Decay affecting the restoration
  • Damage from misuse or neglect

Your dentist will explain your specific warranty coverage before treatment begins
